It is now official. The iPhone 4S will be released in Thailand on 16 December 2011. It will be officially distributed through AIS, DTAC and TRUE. Contact your provider to register your interest. They will then get back to you soon about how you can pre-order. No news yet on official prices. But you do have a choice between black and white.
On this blog I will be sharing with you tips and methods of using an iPhone and iPad in Thailand. I am not pretending to be an expert, but I hope that from my personal experience of using an iPhone for my work and pleasure you might gain some knowledge. As well as reviewing apps that I use, I will also post about accessories and also the latest news from around the world.

Are the three outlets selling the 4S, going to offer factory unlocked phones?
You are really going to love Siri. I just got my new 4s and the Siri assistant is great.
It allows me to send emails, text,make reminders, update my google calendar, find out the time, the weather, nearest shops….all by voice command.
Some of the features like map routes and nearby stores probably work in Thailand.
Also, it only works for English, German and French…at this time…I think.
Also, if you speak English but with a Thai accent the voice recognition may not work very smoothly.
But I assume they are going to come out with one that responds to Thai …soon

I have 4s for 2 months and it’s not possible to find local shops or stores in thailand. This is only available in the USA. Right now for Thailand you can use Siri for all the apple apps except maps and also you can’t ask for places or landmarks etc. Siri is fantastic for reminders and also dictation, asking questions via wolfram too. It’s still in beta and all Thai functions will be available by July next year including maps.
I need to buy one, can i get fectory unlocked iphone4s 32gb from thailand apple shop and can deliver or can collect from the shop in same day….?????

@Nic. Can you tell me where you get your information about Siri being available in Thailand by July? I can’t find that information anywhere else! Siri isn’t even mentioned as an option on the apple Thailand store website. No Siri would mean staying with the iPhone 4!!

Try the Apple online Thailand store. Also shops like True, DTAC and AIS.
Does all these 3 shops sells factory unlocked Iphone4S I want to buy please reply me soon I am in Thailand & will soon return to India.
