Several of my friends moved to Thailand. I wonder why, maybe I should do the same, try some fried grasshoppers? Anyway Thai alphabet is really nice looking and unusual. It looks more original than Chinese and Japanese writing. I'll give it a try.

It's a great app and I've found it's really improved my Thai reading skills- really useful for quick five minute "waiting for the Skytrain" bursts as well. Along with the two Benjawan Poomsan Becker apps, I'd say this was one of the essential ones for learning thai on the iPhone.

What I particularly like is the way it doesn't automatically reveal both the romantised and English versions of the sentence. Seems like a small deal but it's useful for me- sometimes I stumble over the meaning of a word but can read it and just want the English- other times I'm stuck on how to read a word but don't want the translation given at the same time.

I liked the previous alphabet app but are there are few others that have come out since which I use more.

I don't make any money from links or referrals! Do people really think that I am just doing this blog to make money? I am trying to help other people by sharing the little knowledge that I have. Nothing more than that. It is a hobby blog for me.
