How to Upload to Facebook Photo Albums

The Album Manager app helps to batch-upload photos to your Facebook photo albums and share your uploaded albums with standard Facebook privacies.

As you probably know, I travel a lot and I often share pictures that I am taking on my iPhone on my Twitter feed @RichardBarrow. However, I often take more pictures than is advisable to keep tweeting. An alternative is to upload them to my Facebook page (Richard.Thailand) where people can more easily see the pictures and also post comments. So, what I have been doing is tweeting highlights during the day and then uploading all of the iPhone pictures to an album on Facebook at the end of the day. The app that I have been using to do this is called Album Manager for Facebook. I have been using the free add-supported version. This works on both the iPhone and iPad.

The app is very easy to use. After logging into my Facebook account, I can choose whether to upload to one of my photo albums or create a new one. I can then select which pictures that I want to upload to the photo album. Next I have the choice to rotate the picture and add a caption. Next it will start uploading. If your connection is broken it remembers which pictures have already uploaded and will continue from where you last left off. There is also the option to delete any of the pictures. It managed to do all of this efficiently and I have been very pleased. The paid version ($1.99) seems to be the same but without the ads.

What about you, what do you use to upload to Facebook Photo Albums? If you don’t use Facebook, where do you upload your iPhone pictures to and what app do you use?

This one cannot do it, but I have done it before on the iPhone app “pixelpipe” which is free.

In Bali. Tried album manager. Dead end, no help. After login, only a page that says “success”. Nowhere to go. All gray buttons. What’s wrong?

Thanks! I installed the free version to my iPhone 4S. I uploaded the photos to Facebook. On Facebook, it asks whether to Approve or Reject the photos. I click Approve but nothing happens. The album says it is empty. Am I missing a step>
